Optimist of the Year award is designed to recognize excellence in Optimist service and leadership. In addition, the recipient demonstrated personal demeanor that is in keeping with the philosophy of our Optimist Club. This award is voted on by the Optimist Club Members.

Outstanding Service Award
Given to an Optimist member who goes the extra mile when it comes to volunteering. Serving others and making a positive difference in the community is a big part of what our Optimist Club is all about. This award is for someone who consistently volunteers at Optimist events throughout the year and is always there to give a helping hand with our various projects and events.

Optimist Spark Plug Award
Presented to a member who is full of motivation, encouragement, and energy, and inspires other members to get involved. This member sets the world on fire with optimism
and encourages those around to do the same. They lead by example and move others to reach their full potential as an Optimist member.

Optimist Rookie of the Biennium Award
This award goes to a new Optimist member who has jumped
right in by attending weekly meetings, getting involved on a committee, or leading a project or initiative. New ideas and energy keep our club moving forward and this member is one who has made their mark on the club over the past year.
