OPTIMIST VISUAL ART CONTEST

Introduced in 2024, Bismarck Optimist Visual Art Competition was designed to inspire the artist that lives in all of us. In the spring of the year, a new topic is selected by Optimist International and information is sent to all public and private elementary schools. Children ages 11 and under are encouraged to submit a piece of art at the club level. The artist selected as our local winner is submitted to Optimist International for further competition. If selected among 13 nationwide, their art is published by Optimist International and they receive a monetary award of $150.
